The Leonardo da Vinci Italian language schools are located in Florence, Rome and Sienna. Besides our Italian programmes, we also offer courses on the history of Italian art, fashion and design, drawing and painting, cookery and wines. We also issue "Firenze" Italian language diplomas (beginner to advanced level and Italian for Business).

Learn Italian. Our Italian-teaching method
Our teaching method is based on communication. Students actively practise the four main language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Nevertheless, special attention is paid to conversation, so that students can enhance their ability to express themselves and communicate in Italian from the very beginning.
Our method includes studying the essential rules of syntax and grammar necessary when learning any language, but which alone are simply not enough.

The only objective of your Italian course in Italy with Leonardo da Vinci is for your to learn Italian. You will achieve this goal in a natural way, and particularly quickly, because you will be living in Italy throughout your course.
You will be immersed in the country's culture, and you won't hear, read or speak anything except Italian the whole day long. That way you will absorb a huge amount in a very short time, both in the classroom and outside.
A language is made up of much more than just grammar and a series of words; it's how people communicate-just learning a language from book can never be enough.
That's why at Leonardo da Vinci we put so much stress on communication and learning through experience. You will notice this both during your classes and afterwards. Together with your teachers and fellow students you will take an active part in Italian life, which is the best way to strengthen your speaking and listening skills and understand the underlying emotions that many words carry. You will be in contact with Italy's rich culture, its parties, cafés, walks and street life. And during weekends you can go for a day out to the country or the beach to enjoy the fun and sun of the Italian coasts!
