Offering New Alternative Educational Program

In the school districts of South Carolina is now offering an in house alternative educational program for the next year to come especially for those learners who are not successful in their traditional classroom educational setting. This plan was been initiated under the plan of Beaufort County Board of Education. This on site programs that been provided at the county’s four high schools and two middle educational learning institutes are catering the needs of learners who have been disruptive, failed in their academic education, disengaged and violated some school rules. But those learners who commit serious violation of school rules are being separated and will be housed at the District Instructional Support Center in Beaufort and be enrolled with the maximum of 30 students according to the Cynthia Hayes who is the student services officer for this school district.

With these new alternative educational program who don’t succeed in their traditional classroom setting are still be given another chance to become successful and bring out the best of them in the society with dignity, honor and integrity. In which, whatever negative aspects that they got still changes occur for them betterment of their selves, to the people that surrounds them, and to the society that they belong. Aside of that, this type of students will stay much better as they will be entirely connected to their home schools and even under this new educational model according to superintendent Valerie Truesdale. These alternative education programs are planning to be housed at the Robert Smalls and the Hilton Head middle schools. In which, the high school department will be offering night classes in order for the juniors and even seniors who are at their over age or at the risks of dropping out will be catered in their educational needs while the morning and afternoon educational programs will be open for the learners who got some behavior or even academic problems.

Those learners who got some histories of discipline problems will be entirely referred to the education program that entirely suited for them such as character education and other subjects that required by the school administrators. The different school administrators in South Carolina are still continuing of improving their educational program structure that this new alternative education for unsuccessful learners in school campus setting will be provided.

It’s been known that Plagiarism is an act of representing other person’s words or even ideas as its own. An evident offence of it is copying the sentence from the book or whole paper or book which is a major or extensive offence that is quite heavy in the law. This act is very much prohibited in the different countries worldwide, schools, institutions, and even in religious setting. The intellectual dishonesty of this things are quite rampant of this days especially in the nowadays that everything are very much technological. One main example of it is in the Internet. In which, people can easily steal the work of others without their permission or copy it but in the internet also there are several tools that can be found in order to identify plagiarism and the real output. Educational experts say that there are several ways to avoid plagiarism. It’s alright to make the works of to others as reference by quoting the name of author or the book that been written. It might be paraphrasing its sentence or paragraphs. There are several ways or even standards that can be use in order to avoid plagiarism and respect the works of others with dignity on their ideas that been given.

As of now, there are several technological tools in the internet in order for the teachers to determine if their learners are doing plagiarism act through comparing the papers of their students to thousands of papers online. The plagiarism tool is already used for several teachers across the globe in order to examine if their learners are doing plagiarism. Even professional writers are not exempted on it, professional writers are very much keen in looking the originality of their works and without copying the works of others even though that there are some career development resource references that they are been using. Both the different institutions, employers, companies and schools are very much keen in respecting the original works that been done by other people by putting the author or the information that they got into credit.

In the government institutions, offices and even in public schools; all the more plagiarism is very much prohibited because it does not only disrespect the works of others but as well the dignity of the people who originally made that concept or idea to refer on. In that case, government and the different private and public educational learning institutes are teaching their learners to be honest always especially in doing their homework and even term papers and always abide the standards or law of proper writing even the writer using some reference but originality must prevail.

International Student Grabs Lion’s Club Award

The Lion’s Club continues to be part in many activities which constitute serving the communities, students and in all other aspects of civic activities. The Lion’s International clubs has been giving awards in many schools world wide.

Just recently a student was awarded by the club after being able to accomplish laudable contributions even with his meager budget as a student. This contribution made the club realized how important to them the role students are playing nowadays to help the less fortunate people in society. With some students availing of a student loan to continue going to school, but other students have other motivations to lead because they have no problems with the schooling budget.

Named international student of the month by the Norman Lion’s Club was Nicolas Del Granado, a student who hails from Bolivia. He served as the club’s awardee for the month of November last year. Granado was part of the University of Oklahoma’s international exchange student. He comes from the Universidad Catholica Boliviana located at its capital in La Paz. In 2008, Del

Granada became the program chair of the Pan American Association in 2008-2009 and joined the group “Rack it Up.” and solicited funds for the purpose of replacing at least 1,000 lost trees in the campus. Such activity had also got the commendation of many people close to him as well as from the academe.

In his own country, Del Granado also organized the so-called learning activities for the children of prisoners in La Paz correctional for women. In high school he also became an exchange student as well as he was able to live in three countries.
In his speech during the awarding ceremonies conducted by the Norman Lion’s Club, Del Granado reported the landlocked Bolivia with its capital La Paz which is more than 11,500 feet above sea level.
